Women in Design Series – Melody Tan

by FirstWire Apps Collaborator

Melody Tan is a Singapore and Stockholm based fashion and lifestyle content creator, freelance writer and photographer. She runs ÂME Studio which explores the many facets of art and beauty.

From a young age Melody has travelled the world and documented the many cities and continents she has visited. Her sense of style and photography soon garnered a loyal following, with publications such as L’Officiel, T Magazine and Elle featuring her work.

She has worked and collaborated with brands and retailers like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Chopard, Net-A-Porter and Mytheresa to name a few.

I truly admire how hard-working and ambitious Melody is. Focussed on personal growth and knowledge, it's no wonder she has accomplished so much at such a young age.

I have always been drawn to beautiful things since a young age. It slowly made me more conscious about my thoughts and also how I choose to express myself. I love dressing for the occasion and when I buy something to wear, I always have an occasion in mind, like a picnic dress, or a jumpsuit for a dinner party I would host with friends. It is also exactly how I remember different events in my life - what I was wearing.
