Women in Design Series – Nadya Wang
Nadya Wang is a fashion historian, and the founder and editor of Art & Market – a multimedia platform presenting specialist content on Southeast Asian art, with a focus on the community’s artistic, curatorial and business practices.
She currently lectures in the School of Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts and co-hosts the podcast In the Vitrine that focusses on the business, culture & pleasures of fashion in Singapore and beyond.
I love Nadya's directness and no-nonsense attitude. Qualities that are also loved by both her students and peers and which is helping to solidify the foundation for the next generation of Asian designers.
I believe style is confidence in one’s choices, sartorial or otherwise, and I try to embody that everyday.
